Marine resources and renewable energies are attracting attention as a way to solve energy and global environmental problems. In this project, based on marine engineering and observation technology, we have developed underwater vehicles for exploring underwater resources and a high-precision acoustic measurement system for seafloor topography.
We promote greater use of marine energy sources, such as wave force, tidal current, and offshore wind power, and work to develop effective utilization of ocean space in harmony with the natural environment. We have developed an automatic offshore feeding system, an automatic lifting net system for stationary fishery, and a floating and sinking system for the aquaculture industry.
