These short-term winter study abroad programs are organized by the partner universities and the University of Tokyo for ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app students. We recruit participants for 6 programs. Some programs are customized for ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app based on programs originally offered at the partner universities. Contents of the programs are lectures, fieldworks, collaboration and interaction with students from the host universities, language classes, cultural experience, and so on. This is the programs that ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app students participate in as a group. There will be mainly only ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app students/Japanese students in class rooms. The short-term winter study abroad programs are similar to the short-term summer study abroad programs, but the schedule and the host universities are different.
In addition to the programs listed on this page, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app GlobE will offer joint programs with the Asian University for Women (to be held in Bangladesh) and Princeton University (to be held in the United States) as the winter program AY2025.

Make sure to complete the online application via UTAS before the deadline. Before applying, please read the application guidelines and information materials carefully and consult with the relevant office of your affiliated faculty/graduate school to fully understand all important matters related to your academics at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app when studying abroad, and obtain a signature from the office on the application form.
